HOW TO APPLY FOR A JOB AT GSRI

Step 1. Bring at least two (2) personal identifications with you when applying. You will be required to complete an I-9 form. See a list of valid identification (406KB pdf). A copy of your resume is recommended when applying for employment. If you don’t have one, we’ll be glad to assist you.

Step 2. You will need to allow yourself 45-60 minutes’ time when applying. You will be required to:

  • Complete an employment application
  • Take various skill assessments based on the type of work you have done in the past or the type of work in which you are interested.
  • You’ll be asked to have an initial interview with one of our Employment Consultants to go over your application.

Step 3. Verification Processes. Once you complete Step 2 above, we’ll conduct the following:

  • Criminal background checks
  • Reference checks
  • 5 panel drug screens (in-house) and clinical testing
  • Verification of education and training
  • Verification of proper IDs for employment authorization according to federal and state guidelines

Step 4. Job search begins. Depending on the type of work you are interested in (or related experience), we will do our best to match you with the positions available. However, there is no guarantee of placement. Assignments will be given only when there is a position that matches your skills, experience and satisfaction of reference checks.

Step 5. Placement. If it is determined that you’re qualified for a position, you will be contacted by our Employment Consultant for a job interview. You will be assigned to the position if you are qualified. If the position required a second interview with the client company, our Employment Consultant will schedule an appointment on your behalf to meet with the Client Company Human Resource Personnel or Manager for an in-depth interview. If you’re accepted for the position, our Employment Consultant will notify you of the decision. You will be giving a drug screen test prior to starting the assignment. GSRI reserved the right to terminate anyone for assignment if the candidate failed the drug test. Please click on the drug screen link above to review our drug screen policies.
